My beloved wife Yolanda Bueno Mindany is also professional Artist; we accomplished different posters, artistic ceramic work. She is my critic, motivator and soul. I will like to thank to my excellent children for their love and support: Doris, Rossana, Alvaro, and Sandra.

I was born in the world highest city called La Paz, Bolivia. It was on October 1, 1931. I started to paint when I was 5 years old. After I finished elementary and high school, I started my art studies at National Bellas Artes Academy. As a student I participated in many art exhibitions in different countries.

I am very interested in Nature and bio- diversity. I also, studied marine biology and I love fish and the marvelous ocean world. I think I’m here to give the best of myself and to be part of the process of protecting our precious nature. I love the flora and fauna and I take the inspiration from, and then this inspiration becomes real when it is painted on my canvas. I’ve worked for the Bolivian government in Peru as Diplomatic and Consul.

After spending earlier years in and about cities I relocated to beautiful Oriental East Santa Cruz city, and eventually to South West Amazon area. I’ve explored the Amazon from South to North. This adventures inspired to me capture the rare moments and detailed beauty of wild birds and animals of the Rain forest. I’ve participated in art exhibitions in different cities of Bolivia, Brazil, Costa Rica, Argentina, Colombia and Panama.

 

Presently, I’m doing different techniques on my canvas, things like: abstract, impressionistic, and realistic paintings about Amazon and Nature using native art supplies as my canvas I use tree barks and my colors come from water colors, plant resins, flowers, leaves and latex. My creations are very exotic art work, 100% natural.
